Where have you been? / Savannah, TN Newborn and Family Photographer
I know I know, I have been totally MIA all summer. It hasn’t meant I haven’t been doing sessions, I just havent been posting. Being a creator and running your own business isn’t always all that it is cracked up to be. As a mom, wife, and photographer/ business owner things kinda fall to the way side when life gets crazy. This summer, I found it so hard to balance life at home with the kids and work( specifically social media). I worked a good bit doing sessions and editing but I really let my social accounts fall at the back of everything. It has been the most daunting task to sit down and figure out what session to share with y’all next, what to say about the session (why are captions so HARD), and what looks best to make my instagram, aesthetically pleasing. I know these are all things most of my followers don’t even think about when they go on my page or see images i’m sharing… but for me there is so much pressure behind each post. I am working this month to share at least 3-4 times a week and blog at least 3-4 times a month. I think this has been one of the things, I have struggled doing since I started this business. So here’s to setting goals and trying to meet them!
Lets share this stunning in home newborn session with one of my favorite families from Oxford, Mississippi. I have such a love for sessions in your home. I have gotten to take pictures in some of the most gorgeous nurseries. I mean can we just have a moment for this wallpaper, its stunning! In home sessions allow for families to be in their space where they feel the most comfortable. I love getting to see siblings running and playing in between pictures. I have been able to photographer this sweet family since big sister was a newborn. It is so special to be apart of so many mile stones in my sweet families lives. I can’t wait to keep sharing so many sessions with you guys.
XOXO,
Kayla
