Have you ever heard photographers talk about THE session… the ones where everything is literally a dream and you leave so excited to edit the session. THIS SESSION, THIS FAMILY, THIS PROPERTY, EVERYTHING ABOUT IT WAS A DREAM.

Zeyda, contacted me about a family session a few months back. They were coming to Tennessee from California for vacation and she wanted to capture their time here. I knew it was going to be a great session just from talking to her and seeing the wardrobe she picked (wardrobe impacts your images so much folks!!!) I just didn’t realize how good the session was going to be. I pulled up to the gorgeous Airbnb, The Oliver House, in Henderson, TN. This property is stunning!! Zeyda is a florist in California, so of course she had to incorporate some fresh flowers in our session. Im pretty sure this family walked straight out of a Zara magazine. The boys were so much fun, we played and ran around and had a blast while taking pictures. I think that’s such an important part of a session, making it fun and relaxed.

I’m really not sure I can pick a favorite image from this session there are so many beautiful ones from momma with her boys, the love between Zeyda and her husband, and just the joy and love this family shares. I think my favorite part about my job is meeting new people and hearing their stories about their life. This family lives such a cool life in Cali from Surfing to fishing and playing the drums. I love when clients become friends, Blake and I are planning a trip to see them when we go out to California. There are just times where you click and conversation and your session together is just so easy.
